2 hurt in separate stabbing cases

LAPU-LAPU City – Two men were hurt in separate stabbing incidents here.

About 1:30 a.m. yesterday, 24-year-old Esmeraldo Baguio Cañete of Cogon, Cordova, was attacked by a group of men along Maximo Patalinghug Avenue in Brgy. Gun-ob.

Cañete was rushed by concerned bystanders to a hospital.

A few minutes later, Alvin Manatad, 20, was stabbed, too. The suspect was Ryan Dignos Tampos, 21.

Manatad was stabbed while to catch a ride home from FHM disco bar in Brgy. Gun-ob.
Tampos was arrested by the police after he positively pinpointed by witnesses.
Manatad was taken to a hospital, too./PN
