to open office in Roxas City
ROXAS CITY - The Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency (PDEA) will soon be establishing office here as part
of its intensified campaign against the proliferation of illegal
drugs.
PDEA Regional Director Roybel Sanchez said
their office in Roxas City will already be opened by next
month.
Sanchez said he will be deploying six personnel
in the city of the currently 25 in the whole region who will
man their office there and intensify their campaign against
illegal drugs.
Roxas City, according to Sanchez, has 30 drug
dealers of which are considered to be big time. These drug
dealers are under the surveillance of PDEA agents.
Last week, the PDEA has given commendation
to Judge Charlito Fantillanan and Prosecutor Alma Delfin for
the conviction of drug pusher Noel De la Cruz Oliva of this
city who was meted out with life imprisonment and a fine of
P500,000.
Sanchez said the mayors of these two key cities
in Western Visayas are very supportive to their campaign.(PNA)
